The shopping experience will only frustrate you. The money you can save by shopping with them is just not worth the trouble. Bad service, Poor communication They work on the principle that the customer is wrong until proved otherwise. Shop elsewhere.

o iGear: Dear Customer You placed an order at 14h30 in the afternoon and paid via credit card yet we do not accept payment via credit card for the item you purchased. It is clearly stated on our website. Due to a high fraud rate we refuse to accept credit card payments for Blackberry phones yet you still chose that option. We went the extra mile and kept the item aside for you and also contacted the bank to cancel the authorisation of your credit card. By all accounts you are not able to receive SMS notification as you are in some remote area - the bottom line is - your order was shipped BEFORE this message was posted and a mail sent to you to with a tracking number. Bottom line is you will have received the order less than 2 days after payment was received by us. We feel that your comment is unjustified especially in light of the fact we actually bent over backwards to accommodate you.

I would like to launch a legal complaint about this online store. It's almost like I'm dealing with ghost traders here. After payment, my order would take about three days. About a month, now they're giving me one story after the other.

o iGear: Dear Customer. We can only imagine that the delay is due to the recent issues we have had with one of our main cell phone suppliers and have been honest and upfront at all times. Sometimes delays are out of our control and we are trying our best to correct the situation. To imply that we are ghost traders is actually defamatory and if you have asked for a refund you would be gladly receiving one. All you need to do is contact our sales department on sales@igear.co.za and you will receive a response - if you do not however contact us we cannot set the record straight. We have updated ALL customers as best we can at this trying time. We have apologised many times over but if you feel further aggrieved kindly contact us directly to enable us to sort out the problem as right now you are a ghost writer.
