Description
We haven't had a Brazilian coffee from our friends atOrigin Coffee Roastingfor a while, but this one was definitely worth waiting for. From the first whiff of the freshly ground beans, we knew we were going to love it with its sweet nutty aroma that reminded us of peanut butter.
The coffee's body is viscous, almost creamy which gives it a luxurious quality. Combined with the nut flavours, this continues to remind us of nut butter after the first sip. There's also a pleasant but subtle acidity and sweetness that might remind you of dried fruit, and raisins specifically. All together this makes for a delicious, nut & raisin combination of flavours that we thoroughly enjoy.
This coffee will make an excellent espresso. In the Aeropress, the fruit flavours seemed to be more emphasised with hints of dark berry like blackcurrant also shining through.
