Prometheus Mini 336 (30 Hz) Thermal Vision is the monocular version of the Armasight Q14 thermal vision.
It can be used as thermal vision goggles if mounted to a head mount. The unit does not come with any mounting brackets or head gear. The Q14 is the multi-purpose version that features a mounting bracket and built-in reticles for using it as a thermal vision rifle scope. The Prometheus Mini does not have a mounting bracket or the reticles. This is a super small and lightweight thermal vision unit which uses a
FLIR Quark 2 sensor with 336x284 resolution at 30 Hz refresh rate so there is no lag in the image. Additionally, Armasights proprietary hyper-image processing (HIP) code provides the Prometheus Mini with a robust library of software features to tailor images to the operators required optimum standards. The wireless remote and Bluetooth(c) capabilities prevent the Prometheus Mini from becoming obsolete, even as new applications and software hit the market. The Prometheus Mini is designed from inception to be
waterproof up to 20 meters, and meet all of the established environmental requirements of
