Like the Vitamix 5200, the Vitamix Pro is equipped with a 2 horsepower motor and operates at the impressive top speed of 386km/h. The 2-litre jug is made from quality Tritan BPA-free material and is fitted with a high quality stainless steel blade. The lid has a safety clipping mechanism that locks the lid into place and the lid prevents the pushing tamper from touching the blade.
The Vitamix Pro has a pulse function and three preset programs - smoothies, soups and frozen desserts. The preset programs mean you can select the desired program and leave the blender to do the work as it will switch off automatically when the program cycle is complete.
