Description
These coffee beans come from Sulawesi, one of Indonesia's larger islands. The coffees from this island have a reputation of being different from their typical Indonesia counterparts, with cleaner and brighter flavours, as opposed to the expected earthy tones. This particular coffee comes from the Tana Toraja region and is processed by thePedamaran Estate and Wet Mill owned by the Japanese Toarca company. This company has introduced higher quality standards and better processing methods to the region, providing support and certifications which have helped generate greater demand for the coffee beans grown. With a medium body and pleasing complexity, this single origin from Quaffeeis unlikely to remind you of other Indonesia coffees you've tasted. You'll find flavours of toast and hints of lime as well as some blueberry notes depending on your brew method.
