History or his story History, depends on who wrote it. When we go back into history, we know that men like P.W. Botha (South African President during Apartheid), at that time called Tata (Mr. Nelson Mandela) & others like him, terrorists. If you had to ask us, we would answer without a doubt that they were & are heroes. Today we are still influenced by news channels and other forms of media, portraying a certain person or group in a certain way. When I had to board a flight during or close to the 911 tragedy, I was immediately skeptical of a person dressed in his/her full Burqa, Abaya or Galabiyya. Naturally the thought of him being a possible suicide bomber came to mind. The reason for this is that I did not rethink what entered my mind consciously or subconsciously. I just accepted what went in as truth. This leads to a warped perception of reality. So we study history at school, and we have learned that that was purely from someones perception of what they thought went down. Not the full story & at times a warped version of what truly happened. We claim our perception to be truth but that is not necessarily the case. Your reality or perception does not necessarily equal truth. More discussion on this later but this design started based on the Khoi-San as our ancestors. The true story and the significance thereof would silence many a conversation.more to follow.
