NBA 2K23 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the 23rd installment in the NBA 2K series. It was announced at E3 2019 and is scheduled for release on October 17, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Michael Jordan returns as the cover athlete and the game features a "The Jordan Challenge" mode which allows players to replay 15 of his best performances. Ten of the original challenges from NBA 2K11 are also included.
MyCAREER is the main mode in the game and allows players to build their basketball career. They can diversify their brand off the court and make their name the one to remember on the court.
MyTEAM is a mode where players can collect cards to assemble a team of their dreams. They can compete in tournaments and challenges.
MyNBA and MyWNBA are modes where players can manage teams in the NBA and WNBA, respectively.
