The ThinkSystem SR650 Rack Server is powered by an Intel Xeon Silver 4215R processor and has a maximum capacity of 32GB of internal memory. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Rack Server also has a choice of drive interface type in the same drive bay: SAS drives, SATA drives, or U.2 NVMe PCIe drives. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Rack Server also has a freedom to configure some of the bays with PCIe SSDs and still use the remaining bays for capacity SAS drives. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Rack Server is also equipped with an Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory that delivers a new, flexible tier of memory designed specifically for data center workloads. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Rack Server is also equipped with an XClarity Controller that is the embedded management engine in all ThinkSystem servers.
