The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR630 Rack Server is a 2.8 GHz Intel Xeon Silver 4309Y server with 32 GB of internal memory and 4x 3.5inch SAS drive bays. It is designed for IT management and has an embedded management engine in all ThinkSystem servers that standardizes, simplifies, and automates foundation server management tasks. The Lenovo XClarity Controller is the embedded management engine in all ThinkSystem servers, and Lenovo XClarity Administrator is a virtualized application that centrally manages ThinkSystem servers, storage, and networking. The Lenovo AnyBay design features a choice of drive interface type in the same drive bay: SAS drives, SATA drives, or U.2 NVMe PCIe drives. Freedom to configure some of the bays with PCIe SSDs and still use the remaining bays for capacity SAS drives provides the ability to upgrade to more PCIe SSDs in the future as needed. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR630 is also workload-optimized for support of data center operations with Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory, which offers an unprecedented combination of high capacity, affordability, and persistence.
