Saliguard SP is a broad spectrum liquid preservative that is effective against bacteria, yeast and mold. It is globally approved and easy to use. It is water soluble and stable at a pH below 5.5. It is antimicrobial and has a low toxicity profile. It has a neutral scent.
Saliguard SP is a broad spectrum liquid preservative that is effective against bacteria, yeast and mold. With a potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate active base, this liquid preservative is globally approved and easy to use.
Substitute for Euxyl K712.
Sizes: 50ml, 100ml, 500ml or 1L.
SALIGUARD SP USES
Ideal for products with a pH below 5.5 such as lotions, face washes, body washes, shampoos, etc.
Usage rate: 0.5-1.5%. Add to the aqueous phase, or at cool down.

SALIGUARD SP INGREDIENTS
Water, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate
Stable at a pH below 5.5. Ideally your formula should be below pH 5 for optimum efficacy against bacteria.
Tolerates temperatures up to 80 degrees C but ideally add it at temperatures below 40 degrees C, in the cool down phase.
Usage rate: 0.5-1.5%. Add to the aqueous phase, or at cool down.
