Programming Codes
Select the device you want to program from the list below. The codes will appear beneath the list boxes.
You can set up the remote by entering a code that corresponds with your device's brand. Using the Programming Codes section above, select a device and a corresponding brand to see applicable codes.
If your brand is not listed, download the remote manual to find your code. Then follow these steps:
Turn on the device, such as your TV, that you want the remote to operate. On your remote, press the corresponding device button [such as TV, DVD, CBL] and the OK/SEL buttons simultaneously until all device buttons blink twice.
Point the remote at your device and enter a code assigned to your brand. If there is more than one code for your brand, try one at a time until all device buttons blink three times.
Note: Pause one second between entering each number of the code.
Verify that the correct code has been selected by pressing the POWER, PLAY, VOL+, VOL-, CH+ or CH- button.
If the devices do not operate properly, repeat steps 2 to 4 using another code.
Note: If your remote does not control your component after following the steps above, try the Auto-Search Method.
Once your remote has been programmed to turn your TV on and off, it is also set up to control your TV's volume.
Note: AUX mode controls the volume of your auxiliary device, such as your sound system.
To change the volume control to your cable box:
On your remote, press the CBL and the SELECT/OK buttons simultaneously until all the device buttons blink twice.
Point the remote at the device and press 9 9 3. The CBL button blinks twice.
Press the CBL button until all device buttons blink three times.
Note: To restore the TV volume control to TV mode, repeat the above steps but press TV in step 3
