It has a bit less flex than the 1/16" clear acrylic. It's not as stiff as the 1/8" clear acrylic but it is 3 times lighter. This black plastic base shaper will not crack or break. It can be bent in half without breaking where acrylic breaks at the same stress level (We've tried on scrap pieces). It has a nice textured side and a smooth side. All corners and edges are rounded and designer ready so it doesn't damage your liner.
