Made of dimensionally stable chromium, tungsten, vanadium electric furnace tool steel. Low 1,450 - 1,500 hardening range makes this steel easy to harden. Vanadium content assures fine grain and high toughness. Fully speroidized annealed for uniform carbide size and easy machining. Each piece is individually wrapped and clearly marked with size, analysis and correct hardening and tempering information. Other sizes and types of flat stock are available.
