Description
The novel is about a man named Howard who is blind and has a heightened sense of awareness. He meets a man named Richard who starts to introduce Howard to a new world of drugs and betrayal. Howard's wife, Laura, starts to become a part of this new world as well. Howard starts to fall in love with a woman he meets while on this drugs trip, but he has to leave her to continue the journey. He also has to deal with maverick sailors on the heist.
