This is a data sheet for Gamblin Artists Oil Whites, a white paint made of titanium dioxide and linseed oil. It is 97.5% reflective and has a covering power, making it useful for creating opaque layers, but preferable for colour-mixing with other paints. It is also lightfast, rated I, Series 1.
Titanium White: Reflecting 97.5% of all available light, this most opaque white is the perfect choice for direct painting. Monet would have loved it because he wanted his paintings to look soft, like velvet.
