Description
The Gobe Filter Kit 86MM includes a UV filter and a CPL polarizer. The UV filter reduces haze and does not affect color or contrast, making it suitable for use at all times. The CPL polarizer has a high polarization rate and is ideal for reducing glare and capturing defined clouds. Both filters have a Multi-Resistant Coating that reduces lens flare and makes them resistant to scratches, water, oil, and dust. Gobe is a company that prioritizes environmental sustainability and donates funds from each product sold to planting trees in deforested areas. The kit includes the two filters, metal protective caps, a microfiber cloth, and a cotton carry pouch. It is important to not over-tighten the filters when stacking them.
UV (ultra-violet) | The Gobe UV 86mm 1Peak cuts out haze and sharpens your image. It can be left on your lens at all times as no additional coloration or contrast is created. Protecting expensive lenses while shooting in adventurous situations without affecting image quality and your exposure settings aren't affected.
CPL (circular polarizer) | The Gobe CPL 86mm 1Peak has a polarization rate of 99.9% for superb anti-reflection capabilities. The perfect filter for cutting through ocean glare as well as capturing beautifully defined clouds. It allows you to look through the water surface on the river and reduces the glare from glacial peaks while providing a rich blue sky.

Please note: be careful not to over-tighten the filters when stacking, the stack gives you extra leverage that makes it easy to screw the filters too tight.
