Description
Tomric Systems, Inc offers a high-quality polycarbonate mold for making mini flip flop-shaped chocolates. These molds are similar in thickness and durability to expensive European injection style molds, but are more flexible to aid in the release of the chocolate bars. They are designed for professional chocolatiers and can last for years with minimal upkeep. It is important to wash and store the molds properly to maintain their shiny finish and ensure easy release of the chocolate. The recommended cleaning method is to wipe with a soft cloth in warm water, avoiding abrasive cleansers and excessive use of detergent. The molds should be stored in a cool location and used at room temperature.

Tomric's Proline chocolate molds are thermoformed molds with a similar thickness and durability as an expensive European injection style mold. Tomric molds however, are a little flexible to aid in the release of your chocolate bars. Don't be fooled by cheap knock off molds, these molds are made for professional chocolatiers and will last you for years. Pro-tip: Because molds are made of plastic, upkeep is minimal. At the end of the season, molds need to be washed, well rinsed, dried and stored in a cool, dry location. If maintained, the molds will have a shiny finish and release a nicely glossed piece of chocolate. Here are the do's and don'ts of cleaning polycarbonate molds... - Wipe with soft cloth in clear, warm water. - DO NOT use an abrasive cleanser. If molds become coated with cocoa butter, wash with a mild grease-cutting detergent.
